Video: Behind the Scenes of Harmony

I hope you’re having wonderful day! This video is bits and pieces from the making of Harmony to give you an idea of what goes into such a large production. I originally shot a lot of this for my mother and some close friends but I figured I’d go ahead and share it with everyone… If you have any questions about anything you see, just let me know. VIDEO: Want Lean Abs? Try this tip!

Just last week I posted on how important it is to have a strong core – and that by focusing on this area you’ll certainly do wonders for your abs.  I also want to be clear that if you’re doing your core work and you want to see those lean abs, you must do your part on the nutrition end.  Now, in addition to eating the right things – the timing of your last meal can be crucial in determining the results and this tip explains why. 

After you view this tip and try it for a few nights I think you’ll agree that the liver is actually your very best friend when it comes to burning up stored fat.  I can’t say it enough – our bodies are walking miracles so honor yours by living healthy!

VIDEO: PowerFit 101 – Core Fusion

I hope you’re off to a great start this week!  This is the 5th PowerFit 101 video which I hope will help add some more options for those of you who are on the PowerFit journey with me.  I could talk for hours on end about core as the older I get, the more important I’m realizing it is to be strong as possible in this area.  Of course, defined abs are a nice added plus, but it’s all about feeling like I can move through my day with a strong core to do all that I need to do without feeling worn out.

And I can’t say it enough – please continue to provide feedback with suggestions and comments on PowerFit.  I take notes on every single review posted over at qvc.com as well as what you post on this site or on Facebook to truly get a feel for how to improve.  I really appreciate you taking the time to let me know how I can help you in your own fitness journey and it’s an honor to be able to share my passion for fitness.

VIDEO: PowerFit 101: Back, Biceps and Thighs

Hope you’re enjoying the PowerFit 101 videos!  I’ve been so pleased with your feedback and some of the questions I’m getting.  It lets me know that you’re taking your fitness journey seriously and that you want to learn all that you can so that you become your own expert when it comes to how your body responds to healthy eating and working out!

I hope you have a WONDERFUL Labor Day weekend – and that you get to do something outside if the weather cooperates.  It will be cooler before we know it, so let’s take advantage of the last bit of summer while we can and get active outdoors!

PowerFit 101: Chest, Triceps, Glutes

Welcome to PowerFit 101 Chest, Triceps and Glutes!  This was shot when I was up at QVC last week at the hotel so hope you don’t mind the set – or lack thereof!  (and the rest of the PowerFit 101 series was also shot there…figured you might want a break from my back porch or my living room!!) 

Between travelling to and from QVC, my neighborhood Internet and cable service being off and on, and a trip to Alabama – I’m doing my best to catch up with you on email via a the site or on Facebook.  I hope to get through as many messages as possible over the next couple of days so thanks so much for your patience!  I really wish we could all just beam together in a coffee shop somewhere for a couple hours each week….
